We are super excited and proud to announce that, as an outcome of the rigorous strategic work which is carried out by Energypro & Envisa, “Club & Hotel Letoonia” is the first holiday resort in Turkey with a zero carbon footprint in line with the international standards.
We extend our gratitude to the hotel's management, and particularly to General Manager Cihat Gazel, for their vision and collaborative support throughout the partnership.
The methodology involved calculating the client's GHG Protocol scope emissions, followed by verification from an international accredited audit firm aligned with the ISO 14064-1 standard. A comprehensive Net Zero Emission Strategy was then designed and implemented.
For the initial year, the client requested that EnergyPro make the resort carbon neutral. This required identifying impactful offset projects within Turkey to compensate for the emissions under the hotel's ownership and control.
